But if you like shows about travel, food, art and culture, I think you’ll enjoy what Robert and Cam have created here. It's a worthy reflection of the many impressive people they feature throughout the show. Yes, full disclosure, I’m an unabashedly proud colleague. There’s a vibrant curiosity and grittiness to this show, and a genuine openness to get beyond conventional corporate headlines. When I watched it, I flashed back to the first time I watched the great Anthony Bourdain. They have created a new docuseries: Our World, Our Work. ![]() Enter Robert Blackett and his partner Cameron Farboud. So how do we advance the fight for unity? One way is to amplify new voices that champion it. So when people ask me about business strategy, I almost always say, “our strategy is to keep the company working well together.” This may not be a fancy statement, but it’s hard to do…especially as companies grow, as more opinions arise on how a business should run, as decisions and results draw more scrutiny from a wider array of stakeholders, etc. If we don’t agree, so the depressing logic goes, we mustn’t miss a moment to question each other’s motives or morals.Īll of us have an interest in avoiding the bottomless pit of division-at-all-costs, especially at work. I’m confident we’ve all noticed that forces are working to rip us apart into every conceivable faction. ![]()
